Welcome to the website of the University of Melbourne's Student Advice Program.
The Student Advice Program was established in 2007 to provide training to all staff who work with students, from those who handle common enquiries to those who provide critical individual advice. Our principal aim is to encourage the adoption of a 'whole-of-university approach' to the provision of advice among student-facing staff at the University of Melbourne.
With one of the largest networks of student support services and development opportunities of any University in Australia, our Student Advisers are being trained to 'hook' students in to the resources available.
Online Staff Training
The Student Advice Program's new self-paced, online training program for student-facing staff is now taking registrations.
